“What Happened Is…”: Kangana Ranaut Shows Support For Raveena Tandon, Day After She Was Attacked
Raveena Tandon was attached by a group of people in Bandra recently. Kangana Ranaut has now come out in support of the actress and condemned the incident.

Indian actress and BJP candidate from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, has extended support to actress Raveena Tandon, a day after she was attacked in Bandra. For the unversed, Raveena Tanon was attacked by a group of people following an alleged road rage incident. Kangana Ranaut has now come out in support of Raveena Tandon and condemned the assault incident. The Bollywood actress, who never shies away from speaking her mind, took to her Instagram Stories and reacted to the incident that was caught on CCTV camera and went on social media.
Taking to her IG Stories on Monday, Kangana Ranaut called the incident “absolutely alarming”. She condemned it further and added that “those people must be reprimanded”.

Recently, Mumbai Police clarified that a false complaint was filed against Raveena Tandon with the Khar police station. For the unversed, a police case was filed against her for being drunk, rash driving and assault. Raveena Tandon shared a screenshot of a post by Viral Bhayani on X (formerly Twitter), saying that the complainant filed a false complaint in the case.
The post also stated that after checking the CCTV footage, it was found that Raveena Tandon’s car did not hit anyone and she was not drunk.

“The complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress's driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he should check if people were behind the car before reversing and an argument started between them,” DCP Rajtilak Roshan said.
“This argument escalated into abusive language, and actress Raveena Tandon arrived at the spot to check what had happened with her driver. The actress tried to protect the driver from the mob; however, the mob started abusing her. Both Raveena Tandon and the family went to the Khar police station and gave written complaints. Later, they both also submitted letters stating they did not want to register any complaints,” the DCP added.
For the unversed, a video went viral on social media on Sunday, in which Raveena Tandon was seen being attacked by a group of people in Bandra. In the viral clip, Raveena Tandon was also seen begging the group to not hit her.
“Please don't hit me,” said Raveena Tandon while defending herself. When the Bollywood actress noticed that she was being filmed, she asked the person to stop recording.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Raveena Tandon was last seen in Disney+ Hotstar film ‘Patna Shuklla’. The film received favourable reviews from critics.
