The Beckham family feud has taken over the internet this past week, and in a surprising turn of events, Bollywood actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has officially weighed in. While the world dissects the “saas-bahu” (mother-in-law vs. daughter-in-law) drama between Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz, Kangana is firmly planted on #TeamVB, calling the fashion icon a “real queen”. Taking to her Instagram stories, Kangana shared a vintage clip from the 2007 reality special, ‘Victoria Beckham: Coming to America’.

The footage captures a quintessential Victoria moment: attempting to turn a routine DMV photo for her driving license into a high-fashion photoshoot. When officials informed her they couldn't “retouch” the government ID, Victoria’s dedication to her aesthetic remained unshaken.

Kangana captioned the post with laughter emojis, writing: “Look no saas bahu drama gonna make me hate VB. She is so camp, come on the person who can think getting a picture for driving license is a photoshoot is a real Queen. #teamVB.”

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kangana – currently serving as the MP of Mandi – was last seen in the 2025 film ‘Emergency’. She is currently busy filming ‘Bharatha Bhhagya Vidhata’ and an upcoming, untitled Tamil project.

Coming back to the Victoria Beckham controversy, it reached a boiling point on January 19, when Brooklyn Beckham (26) posted a scathing, lengthy note on Instagram. In a rare move, he publicly called out his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, alleging they tried to “sabotage” his 2022 marriage to Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn’s allegations painted a picture of a family life dominated by image over intimacy. He claimed his parents have spent his entire life manipulating press coverage to suit their branding. He also described family events and social media posts as “inauthentic” and “performative”.

Brooklyn Beckham also confirmed long-standing rumours regarding his wedding day. He alleged that Victoria backed out of designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the very last minute. Furthermore, he accused his mother of hijacking his first dance with his new wife, claiming, “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.”

David and Victoria Beckham have been married since 1999 and share three other children: Romeo (23), Cruz (20), and Harper (14). While the couple has long been considered one of the most stable power pairings in global celebrity culture, this public fallout with their eldest son marks a significant crack in the “Brand Beckham” armour.
