AR Rahman recently came across a fan abroad who labelled him as her "idol".

Master of music, AR Rahman, recently came across a fan abroad who labelled him as her "idol". She also asked the 'Rockstar' composer if she could sing a song for him and when AR Rahman gave his approval, the fan ended up singing his famous patriotic number, 'Maa Tujhe Salaam', while also playing the guitar. As the fan kept on singing, AR Rahman kept on patiently watching her, and he also recorded it on his phone from the window of his car.

He also shared the video on his Instagram Stories. A paparazzo account also shared the video on their Instagram page.

Recently, AR Rahman had paid a visit to the Nagore Dargah in Nagapattinam to attend the Kanduri festival.

He then also attended the UAE's 52nd National Day celebrations in Abu Dhabi and unveiled a "song of hope".

"The idea is to create a song of hope. This is a song to honour everyone who is selflessly working. The world needs hope today. I hope the song brings peace, understanding, and joy. My prayers to all the people who need to get healed in this hospital," AR Rahman was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

On the work front, AR Rahman will be next composing music for Aishwarya Rajinikanth's upcoming film, 'Lal Salaam'.

AR Rahman has also given music for Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra's upcoming film 'Chamkila', directed by Imtiaz Ali.
