'Lal Salaam' Trailer: Rajinikanth Plays Moideen Bhai In Daughter Aishwarya's Sports Drama

The much-awaited update you all have been waiting for is finally here. The makers have finally released the trailer for Aishwarya Rajinikanth's 'Lal Salaam'. The sports drama which was slated to release in theatres on Pongal, will now be released on February 9. In the latest entertainment news, Rajinikanth is playing the role of Moideen Bhai in the film, and his character seems to be trying to maintain peace between different communities in the film.
The trailer only provides a vague idea of the film. Vishnu Vishal is playing the protagonist. The trailer also delves into how he has a troubled past.
He is also shown to be an alcoholic, and it is then that a pujari predicts that he will bring a good name to his village. The game of cricket acts as his redemption arc.
Rajinikanth then makes an entry. The trailer also indicates that the film is trying to portray a message of communal harmony.

During the audio launch event, AR Rahman had said that he initially thought the film would be preachy, but Aishwarya Rajinikanth proved him wrong.
The cast of the film includes Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramaiah, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, and Thangadurai.
'Lal Salaam' has been produced and presented by Lyca Productions.
The upcoming Tamil film marks Aishwarya Rajinikanth's comeback to feature film direction after an eight-year hiatus since 'Vai Raja Vai'. Rajinikanth had earlier stated that the film spreads a good message about communal harmony.
