"Senur" is a Bhojpuri film based on the serious issue of the dowry system.

The narrative follows Anjana Singh's character, who marries into a family only to realize the harsh reality of her husband's condition. Facing taunts from her sister-in-law (devrani) and a crumbling household, she decides to break traditional norms by working in the fields herself.

The story revolves around a "Bade Ghar Ki Beti" (Yamini Singh) who, after marriage, throws tantrums at her in-laws due to her parents' status and dowry, causing tension within the family.

Gulab, his wife Pushpa and their extended family face internal strife when jealousy and misunderstandings arise. However, tensions peak as Gulab's sister-in-law believes Pushpa is self-centred.

The film depicts the deep and true love between a stepsister and her three stepbrothers.

The film revolves around Katyayani (Rani Chatterjee), an elder daughter-in-law who, despite being childless, raises her brother-in-law and sister-in-law's children as her own.

The movie is about how in society parents take all the pain to grow their kid , but when kid grows they dont take care of their parents.
