Right-handed batter Shubman Gill is an entertainer both on and off the field. On Wednesday, the 23-year-old played an unbeaten knock of 126 runs in the final T20I against New Zealand, paving the way for a massive win for Team India. Now, in a latest, Shubman Gill posted a hilarious video on his Instagram, in which he along with teammates Ishan Kishan and Yuzvendra Chahal recreated an incident from the reality show 'Roadies'.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Shubman Gill wrote: "Roadies reloaded via recreating our favourite moment.”
Watch the video here:
In the video, Gill can be seen essaying the role of a 'Roadies' contestant while Chahal and Kishan played the roles of the judges Raghu Ram and Nikhil Chinapa, respectively.
The video starts off with Yuzvendra Chahal saying: "You have pissed me.” Ishan Kishan then hilariously gets up from his chair, and he tells Shubman Gill that he wants to see intensity and passion.
Gill then ends up making a crying face, saying: "“I have that intensity. I have that passion. I will make it, I will definitely make it.” As soon as he says this, Kishan ends up recreating Nikhil Chinapa's famous antics from one of the 'Roadies' episodes and ends up doing a gorilla pose. Ishan Kishan even ends up jumping on the bed on which Gill is sitting.
Ishan Kishan further imitates Chinapa as he tells Gill to slap himself.
Talking about Gill, the right-handed batter has been in fine form in 2023 as he has been scoring centuries for fun. Gill is also a part of India's squad for the first two Tests of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
'Roadies' is a reality show that first started airing on television in 2003. Some of the popular names to come out from this show are Ayushmann Khurrana, Rannvijay Singha, Prince Narula and Varun Sood.
