"They Have Lifted It": Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan And Janhvi Kapoor-Starrer 'Devara' Accused Of Plagiarism
Bandla Ganesh, who is a famous film producer, has made a big claim about the makers of ‘Devara'.
Bandla Ganesh who is a famous film producer has claimed that the makers of Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan-starrer 'Devara', have lifted the title which was previously registered by him. In his tweet, he also claimed that the title was first registered by him, but he forgot to renew it. “Devara is a title first registered by me, and I forgot to renew it; they have lifted it,” the producer tweeted.
The makers of 'Devara' have not responded to the claims made by the producer.
However, after making the accusation, the film producer shared a poster of the Jr NTR movie with a caption which read: "Super Ga undi."
For the unversed, Ganesh had previously worked with Jr NTR in movies like 'Baadshah' and 'Temper'. Both of these movies were a success at the box office.
Ahead of his 40th birthday, on May 19, Jr NTR had shared the title and first poster from his 30th film.
“#Devara,” the actor wrote alongside a new poster of the movie.
The movie also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles.
'Devara' is being helmed by Koratala Siva, who is famous for directing movies like 'Mirchi', 'Srimanthudu', 'Janatha Garage' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu'.
'Devara' is being billed as an action-drama set in the coastal lands of India.
“I am truly grateful to you all for your overwhelming response to #Devara! Made my day,” Jr NTR had written in a note that he shared on social media on Saturday.
