Actress Deepika Padukone is one of the best performing stars in Bollywood for quite some time now, but the 'Pathaan' actress often finds herself in the middle of a political storm. For the unversed, the actress had first faced backlash for her movie 'Padmavat' in which she played the role of Queen Padmavat. A few scenes from the movie were changed after some members claimed it disrespected the sentiments of Rajputs. The actress then faced backlash after she attended a students’ protest against the amended Citizenship Act in Jawaharlal Nehru University in January 2020.

Earlier this year, Deepika Padukone was trolled over her song 'Besharam Rang' in which she featured in a saffron-coloured bikini in one sequence.

The actress who recently featured in the Time Magazine cover, opened up about how she did not get worried about all these controversies.

“I don’t know if I’m supposed to feel something about it. But the truth is, I don’t feel anything about it," Deepika Padukone said.
