Rakul Preet Singh Praises Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun And Ram Charan As She Breaks Down Their Distinct Qualities
Rakul Preet Singh highlighted the unique traits of Telugu superstars Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan based on her experiences working with them.
Indian actress Rakul Preet Singh, who began her career in the Telugu film industry and rose to fame with hits like ‘Sarrainodu’, ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and ‘Dhruva’, recently opened up about the unique qualities that define some of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars. In a candid conversation with Siddharth Kannan, the Bollywood actress shared her personal observations about Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun – all of whom she has worked with during her decade-long career.
When asked what sets these actors apart beyond their well-known work ethic, Rakul Preet Singh described Jr NTR as “a natural actor” and “a born star,” praising his effortless dancing skills. She recalled that he never needed rehearsals and could pick up complex choreography simply by watching it once.
Rakul said, “Jr NTR is a natural actor. He is a born star. He is such a good dancer; he doesn't need to rehearse. If you give him a difficult step, he'll learn it just by looking at you. He was just born with that talent.”
Speaking about Allu Arjun, she highlighted his long-standing vision for the Telugu film industry, saying, “Allu Arjun always had the vision that ‘I am a star, but how do I take the Telugu industry to the global level?’ He is a team player, and I think that is amazing.”
Rakul also spoke fondly about Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu. She said Ram Charan's most endearing quality is his childlike energy, noting that despite his superstardom, he has “preserved his inner child.” Mahesh Babu, she added, stands out for the way he balances family and work. “What makes Mahesh Babu, Mahesh Babu is how he is with his family and kids. He strikes such a beautiful balance between his personal and professional life,” she said.
The Bollywood actress has collaborated with all four stars over the years – Jr NTR in ‘Nannaku Prematho’, Allu Arjun in ‘Sarrainodu’, Ram Charan in ‘Dhruva’, and Mahesh Babu in ‘Spyder’. After establishing herself in the South, Rakul transitioned to Bollywood with ‘Yaariyan’ and found major success with the Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘De De Pyaar De’.
Rakul Preet Singh is currently receiving praise for her role in ‘De De Pyaar De 2’. The film, which also features Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Jaaved Jaaferi and Meezaan Jafri, opened to mixed reviews but has collected over Rs 60 crore at the domestic box office and crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide.
Up next, she will be seen opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film also stars Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi and is slated for a theatrical release on March 4, 2026.
