Malavika Mohanan’s Bali getaway blended luxury, fashion and indulgence as she shared a sun-drenched escape from the iconic Bvlgari Resort.
Indian actress Malavika Mohanan has given her Instagram followers a generous dose of wanderlust with a sun-soaked photo dump from her recent escape to Bali, Indonesia. The ‘Thangalaan’ star checked into the ultra-luxurious Bvlgari Resort Bali, and judging by her carousel, the trip was equal parts cliffside reset, fashion moment and full-blown food pilgrimage. Captioning the post, Malavika described it as a “much-needed reset” filled with “cliffside seas and long unhurried meals,” thanking @bvlgariresortbali and @luxetrot for hosting her.

She signed off with a cheeky note about returning just for the resort's tiramisu, making it clear that the Italian dinners had won her heart.

Malavika Mohanan anchored her photo dump with a breezy pastel yellow floral co-ord set – a scalloped-edge button-down top paired with matching shorts – that she styled with layered gold pendants, white cat-eye sunglasses and a woven straw bucket bag. She was seen posing under Bali's signature thatched alang-alang roofs, walking through the villa's tropical pathway lined with palms and crotons, and pausing against the stone-and-wood architecture of the resort. In another frame, she swapped the floral set for a coastal-cool look: a black crop top, distressed denim shorts and a black-and-white striped kimono that caught the breeze beautifully as she strolled through the open-air pavilion.

The standout shot, however, was Malavika on a glass platform floating above the infinity pool at golden hour, wearing an orange bikini layered with a printed sarong and a white shrug, the Indian Ocean stretching endlessly behind her.
The rest of the carousel was a visual love letter to Bvlgari Resort Bali's cliffside perch in Uluwatu. There's the iconic BVLGARI signage glowing against a pastel sunset, sweeping ocean panoramas framed by thatched cabanas and white parasols, the infinity pool lit up blue against the night sky, and the serene spa corridor lined with fresh orchids and lantern candles. A glimpse of her Balinese villa revealed the double-vanity bathroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and lush garden views.
The food frames were just as indulgent – an artisanal bread loaf with crispy flatbreads and olive oil on a Bvlgari-branded wooden board, a hearty lunch spread featuring satay skewers, a burger with fries, fresh juices and Indonesian sides, plus a sunset table laid out with cocktails as the sky turned amber. A final frame captured a traditional Balinese temple gateway flanked by weathered Ganesha statues, a nod to the island's spiritual side.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Malavika Mohanan was most recently seen in the Mohanlal-starrer ‘Hridayapoorvam’ (2025), where her performance as Haritha drew widespread appreciation. With a filmography that spans ‘Master’, ‘Petta’, ‘Thangalaan’ and ‘Yudhra’, the actress continues to balance her packed schedule with moments of well-earned calm – and clearly, Bali delivered.
