Indian actress Malavika Mohanan is serving major wanderlust goals with an extensive photo and video dump from her scenic vacation in the Maldives. Taking to Instagram to share glimpses of her tropical escape, the actress opened up about stepping out of her comfort zone, spending endless hours in the turquoise water, and surprisingly falling in love with marine life. In a candid caption reflecting on her time by the sea, Malavika confessed that she spent most of her trip diving in at every opportunity.

"Spent most of these few days jumping into the ocean every chance I got, snorkelling for hours and getting far too excited about spotting fish," she wrote. The actress admitted that the ocean's predators once intimidated her, adding, "I was genuinely scared of reef sharks at first (because sharks), and now I find myself looking for them every time I’m in the water. Slowly getting over my fear of the ocean, bit by bit, and getting more and more fascinated by this whole world beneath the surface. Who knew I was a closeted island girl".
