Actress Aparna Balamurali had an unpleasant experience when she went to a college in Kerala to promote her upcoming movie titled 'Thankam'. It was during a college event that a student got on the stage and misbehaved with her. The video has now gone viral on social media, and Twitter is calling out the student for his improper behaviour towards the Indian actress.
In the video, one can see a student getting up on the stage without taking permission from the organisers. He then presents flowers to the actress.
However, this was not the end of it as he requests the actress to pose alongside him and he even puts his hands around the actress' shoulder.
Aparna immediately got uncomfortable and moved away.

However, the student did get on the stage later to apologise to the actress for his inappropriate behaviour.
He tried to shake hands with Aparna, but she refused it. He also extended his hand to actor Vineeth Srinivasa, who is the protagonist of 'Thankam'.
Twitter did not take kindly to this entire episode. Check out some of the reactions here:
This guy is It's disturbing to see "boys will be boys" kind of replies to this tweet. Women actors at public events are vulnerable. Why on earth did the security allow the creep near #AparnaBalamurali? As a woman, just watching this is so upsetting. @Aparnabala2 #InSolidarity https://t.co/C9osKNbYxM
