The wait is finally over! The first official trailer for Kangana Ranaut's upcoming movie 'Emergency' is out now. For the unversed, 'Emergency' is directed by Kangana herself, and in the upcoming Hindi film, she will be essaying the role of former India Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. The film will be exploring the ramifications of the 'Emergency' imposed by Indira Gandhi from 1975-1977. 'Emergency' is set to release in cinemas on September 6, 2024. It is safe to say that Kangana Ranaut looks the part as Indira Gandhi, and her dialogue delivery will definitely leave you impressed.

The movie has been directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut. It has been backed by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in ‘Tejas’. The film, which released on the same day as Vikrant Massey’s ‘12th Fail’, tanked miserably at the box office.
