'CTRL' Trailer: Ananya Panday Promises Chilling AI Thriller. Watch

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has had a stellar 2024 so far. She first delivered a hit web series in the form of 'Call Me Bae' on Prime Video, and in the latest entertainment news, the actress is now gearing up for a thriller, titled 'CTRL'. The new Hindi film, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, is slated to release on Netflix on October 4, 2024. The makers unveiled the trailer for the film on Wednesday morning. 'CTRL' stars Ananya Panday as Nella Awasthi and Vihaan Samat as Joe Mascarenhas. The duo plays a romantic couple who create content together and are loved by their internet audience.
However, the plot takes a turn for the worse when they break up. Ananya Panday resorts to taking help from AI to permanently delete her boyfriend from her life. However, things take an ugly turn, when this happens.

"My character Nella, is like any of us. She's caught up in a world dominated by technology and social media. CTRL explores how we navigate the fine line between our online presence and who we are in real life. Working with Vikram sir and Nikhil sir has been an incredible journey, and I can't wait for you to watch it on Netflix and uncover the connection between Nella and Allen," Ananya Panday said in an official statement.
On the other hand, director Vikramaditya Motwane said, "CTRL has been a totally unique journey for me and the team. It's told in what we call the screen life format, which is telling a story in an almost voyeuristic way using the tech that we use literally every single day. Our goal has been to create this incredible immersive experience, and Netflix as a platform has really helped us in reaching our global audience.
Coming back to Ananya Panday's 'Call Me Bae' was released on Prime Video on September 6, 2024.
Apart from Ananya Panday in the lead role, the show also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur.
Ananya Panday is also a part of Akshay Kumar’s ‘The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair’.
