Ananya Panday's upcoming thriller 'CTRL' will be released on Netflix on this date!
Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is gearing up for a busy couple of months, starting in September. She will be first seen in Prime Video series 'Call Me Bae', in September, and then she will be seen in Netflix film, 'CTRL', directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. In the latest entertainment news, Netflix on Monday announced that the upcoming Hindi film will be releasing on Netflix on October 4. Pushing the boundaries of traditional storytelling, 'CTRL' is a cutting-edge thriller that will make you rethink your dependency on technology.
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, and produced by Saffron and Andolan Films, the film stars Ananya Panday as Nella Awasthi and Vihaan Samat as Joe Mascarenhas. The duo play a romantic couple who create content together and are loved by their internet audience.
However, the plot takes a turn for the worse when they break up.

“With the amount of time we spend on our devices, screen time is now redefined as screen life! The question is, are we actually in control of all the digital extensions of our life, or are we being controlled? That's the answer CTRL tries to explore. For a concept as new-age as this, we not only needed a cast who lives such a life, but a medium like Netflix that's relevant," said Vikramaditya Motwane.
Coming back to Ananya Panday's upcoming web series 'Call Me Bae', the show is slated to release on Prime Video on September 6, 2024.
Apart from Ananya Panday in the lead role, the show will also star Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur.
Ananya Panday is also a part of Akshay Kumar’s ‘The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair’.
