Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor turned 44 on Monday (September 28), and his wife, actress Alia Bhatt, made sure to make the occasion extra special by sharing the sweetest birthday wish on social media. Known for keeping their personal lives fiercely private, the celebrity couple treated fans to a heartwarming glimpse into their family life, alongside an energetic celebration with fans and paparazzi outside their extravagant new home. Taking to Instagram, Alia shared a beautiful montage of photographs capturing some of their most personal and romantic moments.

She started the post with an intensely romantic snap where Ranbir can be seen sitting on Alia's lap as the two look deeply into each other’s eyes.

The collection of photos also offered sneak peeks from their private holidays and family moments. One particularly adorable picture showed Ranbir holding their daughter, Raha, when she was an infant, while another featured the couple posing for a cozy selfie, with what appeared to be a lipstick mark from Alia planted on Ranbir’s cheek.

Keeping her birthday message simple yet full of love, Alia captioned the post, "HBD cutie."
The internet immediately reacted to these unseen photos with overwhelming excitement. Actress Sonam Kapoor was among those who dropped a birthday wish in the comments, writing, "Happy birthday Ranbir!" Fans flooded the comment section to express their adoration. One fan wrote, "I am in love with your husband," while another declared it the "Most awaited post." Other comments included, "Oh how much i love them<33", "My whole freaking heart," and "The admiration and love she has for him are so precious! forever crush."
The birthday celebrations weren't just limited to social media. Earlier on Monday, the actor stepped out of his new Mumbai home, Krishna Raj, to greet the massive crowd of fans and paparazzi gathered to wish him.
Appearing to be in a very cheerful mood, Ranbir kept things relaxed and casual, dressed in a grey co-ord set, white sneakers, and black sunglasses. He posed for the cameras, waved to the crowd, and thanked everyone for the love and birthday wishes. Amid loud cheers from photographers and fans, he went ahead and cut three giant cakes kept on a table in front of him.
Another video making the rounds online captured Ranbir and Alia Bhatt waving together at their fans from the balcony of their sprawling bungalow.
The couple moved into this Pali Hill residence in November 2025. The magnificent six-storey home is reportedly valued at a staggering Rs 250 crore.
Looking ahead, Ranbir has a packed lineup of major cinematic projects. He is currently gearing up for the release of Nitesh Tiwari's highly awaited two-part epic saga, ‘Ramayana: Part 1’, where he plays the role of Lord Rama. The film features a massive ensemble cast including Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, alongside Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, and Kunal Kapoor. The first part is scheduled for a Diwali release on November 6, 2026, with the second part planned for Diwali 2027.
He will also star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Love & War’, reuniting with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Releasing on January 21, 2027, the film follows two strong-willed army officers in a dramatic love triangle involving Alia's character.
Rounding out his massive pipeline, Ranbir will return as the lead in ‘Animal Park’, the sequel to Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 2023 hit ‘Animal’, and is set to star in ‘Brahmastra: Part Two’, the second installment of Ayan Mukerji's planned trilogy.
