Watch: Ranbir Kapoor Turns Supportive Husband, Gives Shoutout To Alia Bhatt's 'Alpha'
Ranbir Kapoor gave a special shoutout to his wife Alia Bhatt ahead of 'Alpha' release.
There's a lot riding on Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's upcoming film 'Alpha', backed by Yash Raj Films. The Hindi film must work at the box office if the YRF Spy Universe wants to thrive. Ever since the release of Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar', expectations have risen from spy actioners, and one needs to see whether 'Alpha' can deliver the same experience as the Ranveer Singh-starrer. The trailer for 'Alpha' was released last week, and the clip met with polarising reactions.
The promotions for 'Alpha' are in full swing, as both Alia and Sharvari recently appeared on Samay Raina's 'India's Got Latent Season 2'. Now, it seems the big guns are coming out to promote 'Alpha', as Ranbir Kapoor has also joined in to offer support to his wife.
Recently, the 'Animal' actor was seen flaunting an 'Alpha'-themed T-shirt when he stepped out in the city. He was also clicked by the paparazzi. The Bollywood star was seen entering a building.
The shutterbugs were then seen trying to get closer to Ranbir to get a clearer picture. However, the actor requested them to stay at the gate and not enter the building's premises. It was then that one got a closer look at Ranbir's T-shirt.
The text on Ranbir's T-shirt read, "My Wife’s An Alpha." This was a clear shoutout to Alia's upcoming film. Ranbir kept it simple, looking dapper in a black T-shirt with matching track pants, a black cap, and sunglasses.

Soon after the video surfaced online, several social media users reacted to it. "His wife is Alpha and he's making sure the whole world knows it," wrote one user.
Another user commented, "Supportive husband."
"It's a flex indeed," wrote one user.
"Alia’s biggest Cheerleader and Alia's biggest fan," commented one user.
Speaking of 'Alpha', the film is the latest instalment in Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe, which includes films 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', 'Pathaan', 'Tiger 3', and 'War 2'. The film also stars Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor and will also feature a cameo by Hrithik Roshan. It is scheduled to release in theatres on July 3.
Recently, Alpha's action director Craig Macrae had lauded Alia's efforts in the film. In a statement, as quoted by ANI, he said, "What sets Alia Bhatt apart from those other female stars is that I think her work ethic is absolutely incredible. She's really put in a lot of time and a lot of effort into preparing for Alpha. She was really dedicated to the movie, and I think that's going to be the thing that really makes a huge difference in her on-screen presence."
"Not only just for the action preparation, she obviously did a lot of work for the preparation as the character as well. She's one of those people who you can really feel is willing to put in the amount of work that is required and then some, to go above and beyond what's needed for the film," Macrae added.
