The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has finally unveiled the first slate of presenters for the upcoming 96th Oscars.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has finally unveiled the first slate of presenters for the upcoming 96th Oscars, which will be held on March 10, 2024. The ceremony will be telecasted in India on Monday early morning, March 11. The announcement of the first slate of presenters was made on Tuesday morning. “Meet your first slate of presenters for 96th Oscars,” read the Instagram post accompanying the list. The presenters for this year's Oscars are -- Mahershala Ali, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, and Lupita Nyong'O.
Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh, and Zendaya have also been announced as the presenters for the 96th Academy Awards.

The producers of Oscars 2024 will continue to announce more presenters in the coming weeks.
For the unversed, Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting Oscars 2024. This is the fourth time that he will be hosting the prestigious ceremony. This ties him with fellow four-timers Whoopi Goldberg and Jack Lemmon.
Johnny Carson, (five), Billy Crystal (nine) and Bob Hope (11) are some of the people who have hosted Oscars 2024 for the most number of times.
“We are thrilled about Jimmy returning to host and Molly [McNearney] returning as executive producer for the Oscars,” said Academy CEO Bill Kramer when Jimmy Kimmel was announced, as reported by Variety.
“They share our love of movies and our commitment to producing a dynamic and entertaining show for our global audience. We are deeply grateful to Jimmy, Molly and their teams for their incredible creativity and partnership and for going on this ride with us again,” he added.
The nomination list for Oscars 2024 is dominated by Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’.
Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ has also landed nominations in multiple categories and films like ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’, and ‘Poor Things’ have also made their presence felt in the nominations.
Cillian Murphy has landed a nomination in the Best Actor category for his performance in ‘Oppenheimer’, while Emma Stone and Lily Gladstone have landed nods in Best Actress category for their performances in ‘Poor Things’ and ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ respectively.
