The gown featured oil-on-canvas inspired prints that lent it a painterly, almost museum-like quality. The colour palette blended deep greens, rich reds, muted golds and soft blush tones, creating the effect of blooming roses scattered across a dark, lush base.

The bodice was panelled and sculpted, with slender shoulder straps and a softly curved neckline that framed her collarbones. Fitted through the waist, it flared into a dramatic two-tiered skirt. The upper layer formed a structured peplum-like flare, while the lower layer cascaded into a sweeping train, adding volume and grandeur. The silhouette felt distinctly feminine and regal, striking a balance between classic ballgown drama and modern tailoring.

Rakul Preet Singh kept her accessories minimal to allow the intricate print to take centre stage. She paired the gown with statement green drop earrings from Karishma Joolry, which echoed the emerald tones in the fabric. A few delicate rings completed the jewellery story without distracting from the gown’s artistry.

For her makeup, the Bollywood actress chose luminous, well-blended skin with gentle contouring and a warm flush on the cheeks. Her eyes were defined with subtle liner and neutral-toned shadow, enhancing their shape without appearing heavy. A muted pink lip added freshness and balance to the richly coloured ensemble. Her hair, styled in loose, glossy waves with a centre parting, fell gracefully over her shoulders.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rakul Preet Singh was last seen alongside Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan in ‘De De Pyaar De 2’. The movie has made over Rs 74 crore in India, as per Sacnilk.

Prior to this, she starred alongside Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Harsh Gujral in ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’.

Up next, Rakul will be seen in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi and Sara Ali Khan. She will reportedly also feature in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi and more.
