The gown featured a body-hugging, column silhouette with a deep V neckline framed by ivory, feather-textured appliqué detailing that traced the neckline and ran vertically down the centre of the dress. The base fabric was richly embroidered with a geometric, diamond-patterned motif, giving the gown depth, texture and a couture finish. The contrast between the dark base and the soft ivory embellishment created a sculptural, almost graphic effect that drew the eye along the body’s natural lines.
The back was just as dramatic, featuring an open back with thin black spaghetti straps that crossed delicately over her shoulders, leaving most of the back bare and adding a sensuous touch. A subtle slit at the hem allowed ease of movement while maintaining the gown’s sleek structure. The overall effect was sleek, statuesque and unapologetically glamorous, with just enough edge to feel editorial rather than conventional.
For accessories, Rakul Preet Singh kept things refined and minimal. She wore crystal ear cuff by Esme Crystals, adding a sharp, contemporary accent to one ear, while her diamond drop earrings and rings from Origem India brought in delicate sparkle without overpowering the look.
