Ananya Panday Serves Fresh Festive Energy In Yellow Ethnic Ensemble. See Pics
Ananya Panday brightened up traditional fashion with a breezy yellow look.
Bollywood actress Ananya Panday’s style has evolved into a confident mix of youthful ease and modern Indian glamour. She gravitates towards silhouettes that feel light, fluid and feminine, while still allowing room for playful experimentation with colour, texture and craft. Whether she is wearing soft pastels, sculpted corsets, breezy lehengas or contemporary sarees, Ananya often chooses looks that highlight movement and freshness rather than heavy drama. Her fashion choices reflect an instinctive understanding of how to keep traditional elements relevant – leaning into comfort, fluidity and sun-kissed palettes that feel effortless and distinctly her own.
In this look, Ananya Panday stepped into a radiant yellow lehenga set by Arpita Mehta, crafted in a Bandhani-inspired print layered with Banarasi-style detailing – exactly as described by the designer: “when Bandhani meets Banarasi.”

The colour, a sun-washed marigold yellow, came adorned with green dotted motifs, giving the ensemble a lively, festive warmth without feeling overpowering. The outfit featured a flared lehenga skirt in a soft, flowy fabric that moved beautifully with every step. The skirt was detailed with vertical lines of mirror and sequin embellishments, interspersed with delicate shell-like and bead elements that created shimmer through texture rather than heavy shine. The waistband was richly embroidered, anchoring the otherwise airy silhouette and adding structure at the waist.
The blouse was a fitted bandhani-printed bralette-style choli with slim straps and gentle ruching at the centre of the bust, keeping the look youthful and modern. A matching sheer yellow dupatta was styled lightly around the neck like a scarf rather than draped traditionally, giving the outfit a breezy, contemporary twist.
Ananya Panday’s accessories stayed rooted in Indian craft. She wore oversized gold chandbali earrings with dangling pearl and bead detailing, and a traditional gold hand cuff on one wrist, adding just the right amount of festive drama without overwhelming the look.
Her hair was styled in soft, loose waves with a centre part, keeping the overall feel relaxed and romantic. The makeup was fresh and glowing – dewy skin, softly defined eyes, warm peach-pink blush, nude lips and a tiny green bindi that subtly tied back to the green accents in the print.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya can be currently seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, marking their second collaboration together. Directed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Dharma Entertainment, the film also stars Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff. It has so far made Rs 23.5 crore in India, as per Sacnilk.
Prior to this, Ananya featured in ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’, co-starring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.
Ananya Panday will next star in ‘Chand Mera Dil’ opposite Lakshya, and return for ‘Call Me Bae Season 2’.
