The new Hindi movie has opened to mixed reviews. However, the audience reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Speaking of ‘Dhurandhar’, the film also stars Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. It is an underworld saga that follows a network of criminals, informants, and operatives. The film is produced by Aditya Dhar and his brother Lokesh Dhar through their banner B62 Studios alongside Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios.

Prior to the film's release, many social media users suggested that Ranveer Singh’s character might be based on Major Mohit Sharma, the Ashoka Chakra awardee who famously infiltrated the Hizbul Mujahideen after going undercover as ‘Iftikhar Bhatt’ in the early 2000s. However, Aditya Dhar revealed on X that the film had no connection to Major Mohit Sharma’s life.

Lastly, speaking about Kriti Sanon and Dhanush's 'Tere Ishk Mein', the film managed to brave competition from 'Dhurandhar', earning Rs 6.90 crore on its 10th day of release, Sunday (December 7). The total nett domestic collection of the film stands at Rs 100 crore, with the Hindi version contributing Rs 94.90 crore.
