Badminton champion Saina Nehwal has officially joined the internet’s latest obsession – Akshaye Khanna’s swagger-packed entry sequence from the new Hindi movie ‘Dhurandhar’. Set to the viral track ‘FA9LA’, the sequence has taken social media by storm, and Saina Nehwal decided to do more than just hum along; she went all in to recreate the iconic move herself. During a recent outing, Saina attempted Akshaye’s electrifying entry step, but the real show-stealer turned out to be her father.

Channelling the effortless charm of Akshaye’s late father, the legendary Vinod Khanna, Saina’s dad stepped into the frame, striking classic poses, delighting fans with his charisma.

Saina perfectly summed up the adorable moment in her caption: “When you are #AkshayeKhanna fan, and papa is #VinodKhanna fan.”

The track ‘FA9LA’, composed by Bahraini rapper Flipperachi, serves as the background score for Akshaye Khanna’s entry in Balochistan, where he goes to pick up arms and ammunition. He plays Rehman Dakait, a Pakistani crime lord turned political bigwig, and his chilling calm, combined with the catchy beats, has made this one of the most viral sequences of the year. The hype skyrocketed after lead actor Ranveer Singh shared the song on social media, teasing fans with the line, “So here’s THAT track from the movie.”

While the internet is busy with the trends, the film itself is shattering records. ‘Dhurandhar’ follows the tale of a covert operative navigating political betrayal and national duty. Ranveer Singh leads the charge with a controlled performance, but it is Akshaye Khanna’s dangerous charisma as the antagonist that has become a fan favourite.

The film, which also features powerful performances by Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal, has taken the box office by storm. It has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India during its opening weekend and has raked in a staggering Rs 160 crore worldwide, cementing its status as one of the biggest hits of Ranveer Singh’s career so far.
