Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon And Tabu’s ‘Crew’ Passes Monday Test With Flying Colours

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu-starrer 'Crew' has passed the crucial Monday test with flying colours. The new Hindi movie minted Rs 4.50 crore on Monday, the fourth day of its release, as per early estimates posted by industry tracker Sacnilk. These Monday numbers come after an impressive opening weekend, with the heist comedy film surprising everyone with the first three-day collection of more than Rs 30 crore. The total nett domestic collection of 'Crew' now stands at over Rs 34 crore.

The film is also holding very well internationally. Till the weekend, 'Crew' had made Rs 62 crore worldwide. With Monday collections also taken into consideration, the number is likely to cross Rs 70 crore.

If this current trend continues, then 'Crew' is expected to have a strong first week total at the box office.

'Crew' has an open run till the two big Eid releases -- Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' and Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan'.

The other two films that are doing well at the box office are 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s 'Aadujeevitham'.

'Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire', which released alongside ‘Crew’ on March 29, collected Rs 5.50 crore on Monday, the fourth day of its release. As per Sacnilk, the four-day collection in India now stands at Rs 44.55 crore.

Prithviraj Sukumaran's new Malayalam film 'Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life', which released in cinemas on March 28, made Rs 5.25 crore on the fifth day of its release. As per Sacnilk, the five-day total now stands at Rs 35.55 crore.

Returning to 'Crew', apart from Kareena, Kriti, and Tabu, the new Hindi movie also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma.

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the new Hindi movie is set against the backdrop of the airline industry. The new Hindi movie is co-produced by Ektaa Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, who reunited after the 2023 Bollywood movie ‘Thank You For Coming’.

‘Crew’ also marks the third collaboration between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh after ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Good Newwz’.
