Here's how much Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu's 'Crew' collected on the second day of its release.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu-starrer 'Crew' is continuing its golden run at the box office. After making more than Rs 10 crore on the opening day of its release, 'Crew' maintained the same momentum on the second day of its release. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the new Hindi film collected Rs 10.87 crore on Saturday, and hence the two-day nett domestic collection now stands at Rs 21.15 crore.
"EXCELLENT HOLD… #Crew strengthens its position on Day 2 [Sat], after an impressive start on Day 1 [#GoodFriday holiday]… Urban centres are super-strong, while mass pockets are good / decent. Fri 10.28 cr, Sat 10.87 cr. Total: ₹ 21.15 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice," Taran Adarsh wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
"The 2-day total exceeds ALL pre-release expectations and calculations… It’s a given that Day 3 [Sun] will punch higher numbers than Day 1 and 2, which means it’s eyeing ₹ 33 cr+ [or thereabouts] in its *opening weekend*, which is truly FANTASTIC," he added.

On Saturday, the makers of 'Crew' announced that the film made Rs 20.07 crore worldwide on the opening day.
As per Sacnilk, 'Crew' had an overall 28.80 per cent Hindi occupancy on Saturday.
For the unversed, 'Crew' is facing very tough competition from the Hollywood film 'Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire'. The movie which also released on Friday, collected Rs 13.25 crore on Saturday, the second day of its release. As per Sacnilk, the two-day collection in India now stands at Rs 26.50 crore.

Returning to 'Crew', the new Hindi film is crucial for Kareena Kapoor as her last theatrical release 'Laal Singh Chaddha' bombed at the box office. The movie which opened with Rs 11 crore, was able to mint just Rs 60 crore in its theatrical run.
Apart from Kareena, Kriti, and Tabu, the new Hindi film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma.
Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the new Hindi movie is set against the backdrop of the airline industry. The new Hindi movie is co-produced by Ektaa Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, who are reuniting after the 2023 Bollywood movie ‘Thank You For Coming’.
‘Crew’ also marks the third collaboration between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh after ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Good Newwz’.
