Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Tabu-Starrer 'Crew' Goes Past Rs 100 Crore At Worldwide Box Office

'Crew', starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon, is continuing to mint money at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office. The new Hindi movie, co-starring Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma, has emerged as a major success story. The heist comedy has gone past the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office. On Sunday, 'Crew' minted Rs 5.79 crore in India, as per early estimates posted by industry tracker Sacnilk. For the unversed, Sunday was the 10th day of the movie’s release.

As a result, the ten-day nett domestic collection of 'Crew' stands at Rs 58.54 crore. 'Crew' is only the fifth Bollywood film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide this year and it also ranks as the fifth highest-grossing Hindi movie of 2024, behind 'Fighter' (Rs 358.89 crore), 'Shaitaan' (Rs 201.65 crore), 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' (Rs 141.29 crore) and 'Article 370' (Rs 104.6 crore).

On Sunday, 'Crew' had an overall occupancy rate of 20.66 per cent in the Hindi language, as per Sacnilk.

'Crew' has a free run till the two big Eid releases -- Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' and Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan'.

The other two films that are doing well at the box office are 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s 'Aadujeevitham'.

'Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire', which released alongside ‘Crew’ on March 29, collected Rs 6.25 crore on Sunday, the tenth day of its release. As per Sacnilk, the ten-day collection in India now stands at Rs 72.25 crore.

Prithviraj Sukumaran's new Malayalam film 'Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life', which released in cinemas on March 28, made Rs 5.00 crore on the 11th day of its release. As per Sacnilk, the eleven-day total now stands at Rs 58.60 crore.

Coming back to 'Crew', the new Hindi movie has been directed by Rajesh A Krishnan. It is set against the backdrop of the airline industry. The new Hindi movie is co-produced by Ektaa Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, who reunited after the 2023 Bollywood movie ‘Thank You For Coming’.

‘Crew’ also marks the third collaboration between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh after ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Good Newwz’.
