Ranveer Singh's ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ Fastest Bollywood Film To Enter Rs 500 Crore Club
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, directed by Aditya Dhar, has been performing exceptionally well at the box office.
There is just no stopping ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, directed by Aditya Dhar. The spy actioner, which released in theatres last week, earned more than Rs 50 crore on its fifth day in a row, and the India collection has gone past the Rs 500 crore mark. 'Dhurandhar 2', starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and R Madhavan, has become the fastest Bollywood film to enter the Rs 500 crore club. Earlier, the project had become the fastest to enter the Rs 300 crore and Rs 400 crore club as well.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ minted Rs 65 crore on Monday, the fifth day of its release, taking the total five-day nett collection in India to Rs 519.12 crore. When one adds the worldwide collection to the mix, the total rises to Rs 829.76 crore.
On Monday, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ had an overall occupancy of 44.1 per cent. Out of the Rs 65 crore, Rs 60 crore came from the Hindi version on Monday, while the Telugu version contributed Rs 3.50 crore.
'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' earned Rs 143.55 crore on its opening day in India, including paid previews, and followed it up with collections of Rs 80.72 crore, Rs 113 crore, and Rs 114.85 crore in the next three days. The film is expected to breach the Rs 1,000 crore mark in India by the end of the second weekend.
On Monday, the Aditya Dhar directorial received praise from none other than Rajinikanth. The South superstar took to X (formerly Twitter), to say, "What a film … #Dhurandhar2 !!! Aditya Dhar box office -ka baap !!! Many congratulations to Ranveer and the entire cast and crew. A must-watch film for every indian. Jai Hind.”
Earlier, the film was praised by South superstars Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda. 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has also received praise from Bollywood celebs such as Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, Anupam Kher, Arjun Kapoor, and more.
'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' also stars Gaurav Gera and Danish Pandor in key roles. In a recent Instagram video, Rakesh Bedi had urged the fans to stop posting spoilers on social media. He also stated that the former India captain Sunil Gavaskar is also struggling to get tickets for the recently released film.
“Talking about sports, yesterday I met one of the great sportspersons of India, the great Sunil Gavaskar ji. He said, ‘Rakesh ji, I am not able to get the tickets. So please arrange it for me.’ So I am trying to arrange some tickets for him. I hope I am able to," he said in the Instagram video.
After the film's success, rumours began circulating about a potential 'Dhurandhar 3'. However, in a recent interaction with Zoom, casting director Mukesh Chhabra squashed all such claims. “Aisa kuch nahi hone wala. Bohot sare rumours hai," he said.
‘Dhurandhar 2’ serves as both a sequel and an origin story for Ranveer Singh’s character, Hamza Ali Mazari (also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi). The plot follows the Indian spy as he continues his mission to dismantle a terror network in Pakistan that threatens Indian security.
