Watch: Tamannaah Bhatia Devotional Dance At Maha Shivratri Celebrations
Tamannaah Bhatia immersed herself in Isha Foundation’s Mahashivratri celebrations in Coimbatore, dancing her heart out.
While most of Bollywood was tucked away in vanity vans or at high-profile screenings, Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia was busy tapping into something much more powerful. The ‘Baahubali’ star was spotted at the Isha Foundation’s massive Mahashivratri celebrations in Coimbatore this past Sunday. And let’s just say, she didn't just attend, she showed up wholeheartedly. Clad in a stunning traditional ensemble that perfectly captured the festive spirit, Tamannaah was the picture of pure joy.
In clips that are currently blowing up on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), the actress can be seen dancing her heart out alongside thousands of other devotees, completely lost in the rhythmic chants and high-octane musical performances that Isha is famous for.

Fans called it her most radiant look yet. Eschewing the usual red-carpet stiffness, Tamannaah appeared deeply immersed in the sacred festivities. She joined the night-long vigil (Jagaran), staying awake until the early hours of the morning to soak in the upward surge of energy that practitioners believe occurs during this specific lunar cycle.
For the unversed, Mahashivratri marks the "Great Night of Shiva," celebrating the cosmic wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
According to Hindu mythology, the Shiva-Shakti duo is considered the epitome of love, power, and togetherness. The festival marking their sacred union, Mahashivratri, is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm across India.
Devotees observe fasts, offer prayers, and participate in night-long vigils to seek the deity's blessings. According to Hindu mythology, on the night of their wedding, Lord Shiva was escorted to Goddess Parvati's house by a diverse group of Hindu gods, goddesses, animals, and demons.
The Isha Foundation, headed by Sadhguru, is known for blending ancient mysticism with modern spectacle. This year was no different, featuring laser light shows that illuminated the iconic Adiyogi statue. It also featured ecstatic music that kept the energy at a fever pitch all night and meditative silences that grounded the thousands in attendance.
For Tamannaah Bhatia, the night seemed to be a perfect reset. As the sun rose over the Velliangiri hills, the actress looked refreshed, proving that sometimes the best way to recharge is to dance the night away in the presence of the divine.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen in the Prime Video series 'Do You Wanna Partner'. It also stars Diana Penty and Nakuul Mehta, among others.
Prior to this, she featured in a special dance number from Ajay Devgn’s thriller ‘Raid 2’, which released in cinemas on May 1, 2025.
Currently, Tamannaah can be seen in ‘O Romeo’, which also stars Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Vikrant Massey, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary and Tamannaah Bhatia. She also has ‘No Entry 2’, ‘Vvan - Force of the Forrest’ and ‘V. Shantaram’ in her kitty.
