Bollywood actress and travel enthusiast Sara Ali Khan has once again proven that her heart belongs to the mountains. On Thursday, the ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ actress took to Instagram to share a sprawling photo dump from her recent Himalayan getaway, blending high-altitude adventure with rustic simplicity and her signature wit. Capturing the essence of her journey, Sara captioned the post with a poignant quote from Sir Edmund Hillary: "It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves," accompanied by a string of emojis ranging from snowflakes and peaks to a blue evil eye.

The first set of visuals showcased Sara Ali Khan embracing the mountain girl aesthetic with a high-fashion twist. One of the standout images showed her standing outside a small, remote hilltop temple adorned with prayer flags – a common sight in the higher reaches of Uttarakhand. Her choice of attire wasn’t just about the neon; she was also seen in a white ‘Pilates Girl’ tank top and black joggers, proving that even at thousands of feet above sea level, her fitness identity remains intact.
Sara Ali Khan has always been vocal about her love for local experiences, and this trip was no different. In a heartwarming video, she was seen tucked away inside a traditional stone-and-wood hut, sitting on the floor as a local host prepared a fresh meal.
The actress can be seen enjoying a traditional thali featuring saag (greens) and ragi (finger millet) roti. In the clip, she specifically mentioned her preference for the crispy texture of the ragi roti, highlighting her appreciation for organic, farm-to-table mountain cuisine.
