When a film strikes an emotional chord with audiences, it’s not just the story that resonates – everything from behind-the-scenes clips to candid moments becomes part of its cultural wave. That’s exactly what’s happening with ‘Saiyaara’, the romantic drama that has taken the box office and social media by storm. As the film continues to ride high, its lead actress Aneet Padda is quickly becoming a fan favourite – especially after a behind-the-scenes video of her singing the film’s title track went viral.

The video was shared by actress Ishitaa Thakur, who also featured in ‘Saiyaara’. In the clip, Ishitaa and Aneet are seen casually jamming to the Shreya Ghoshal version of the ‘Saiyaara’ title track.

Aneet Padda, dressed in cosy woollens, can be seen singing with effortless charm as her voice captured the soul of the song. Ishitaa, seated beside her, joined in as the two tried to learn the tune together on set.

Check out the video here:

Sharing the moment on Instagram, Ishitaa captioned it, “#BTS. We were just trying to learn the saiyaara song @aneetpadda_ U are such a sweetheart. Keep shining and shining, you’ve got something truly special !! And no nazar please.”

Fans were quick to flood the comments section with love for Aneet Padda’s rendition. From calls for a full version – “Aneet, we deserve a full cover” – to comments predicting stardom like “You're gonna be a huge star for sure,” the admiration poured in. One user noted, “The last melody was so accurate,” while another simply wrote, “Beautiful voice.”

While ‘Saiyaara’ is Ahaan Panday’s debut, Aneet has previously appeared in projects like ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ and Revathy’s ‘Salaam Venky’, where she shared screen space with Kajol. However, this film has catapulted her to new heights of fame.

Directed by Mohit Suri, ‘Saiyaara’ marks his return to the romantic drama genre. Released on July 18, the film tells the passionate story of Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday), a fiery musician, and Vaani (Aneet Padda), a reserved journalist.

With glowing reviews and strong word of mouth, the film has raked in Rs 247 crore at the box office so far, cementing its place as a surprise hit.
