‘Saiyaara’ sensation Aneet Padda looked visibly overwhelmed as she was surrounded by photographers outside a salon.
‘Saiyaara’ is on a dream run – smashing the box office, winning hearts, and turning newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda into overnight sensations. The romantic drama, directed by Mohit Suri, has found love from both critics and audiences, with social media buzzing with clips of packed theatres and screaming fans. And naturally, with the success has come the glare of the paparazzi, who now chase the film’s stars around Mumbai like seasoned celebrities.
A recent outing of Aneet Padda has particularly caught everyone’s attention. The young actress was spotted outside a salon in Mumbai, where a swarm of photographers had already gathered to capture her. Dressed in casual blue denims and a matching top, Aneet looked visibly overwhelmed by the sudden media frenzy. With her mask on, she quietly made her way out of the salon, guided through the chaos with the help of her team.

However, one particular moment from the video divided the internet – when a fan approached Aneet for a selfie, she politely declined. While some labelled her behaviour as “arrogant”, others quickly jumped to her defence, reminding trolls that she’s a newcomer still adjusting to the limelight.
After all, this was one of her first public appearances post Saiyaara’s release, and she wasn’t alone either – she had a friend accompanying her for the salon visit.
Her growing fandom, however, wasn’t silent. “She is not used to the camera and paparazzi, let’s give her some time. Also, YRF has restricted them from media interactions,” one user wrote. Another added, “This is her first time, guys… she isn’t used to this. Nepo kids get years of media training and shayad wo nervous hogi.”
Meanwhile, ‘Saiyaara’ continues to dominate the box office. The film has already raked in Rs 155 crore within just six days of its release, outpacing several 2025 major films like ‘Sikandar’, ‘Kesari’, and ‘Jaat’. Its success has been further boosted by several celebrities praising the movie. Big stars like Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh have sung the movie’s praises online.
Directed by Mohit Suri and backed by Yash Raj Films, ‘Saiyaara’ carries the director’s signature romantic flair. In an earlier interview, Mohit Suri revealed that Aneet was cast specifically because of her natural look.
“I’m sorry if I don’t sound politically correct, but one thing that was very scary was that I wanted a 20–22-year-old girl who hadn’t done anything cosmetological to her face or body in today’s age. That was a big requirement,” he shared.
