It seems the spotlight can sometimes get a little too bright, even for Bollywood's most seasoned stars. In a recent incident that has taken social media by storm, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was caught on camera losing his cool with a paparazzi photographer during a night out in Mumbai. The tense moment unfolded on Saturday night following the grand ‘Ramayana’ event. Ranbir stepped out for a dinner outing with his wife, actress Alia Bhatt, his ‘Love & War’ co-star Vicky Kaushal, and the acclaimed director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The gathering was particularly notable as it came on the heels of the highly anticipated ‘Love & War’ first-look posters being unveiled throughout the week, alongside Alia and Vicky's appearance on the Manish Malhotra runway.
The group appeared relaxed and in good spirits as they stopped to pose for the waiting paparazzi outside the restaurant. Ranbir looked effortlessly stylish in an olive-green kurta paired with black jeans, while Alia turned heads in a striking neon green and yellow dress. Vicky Kaushal opted for a classic, understated look in a white shirt and black trousers.
The photo session was initially going smoothly. At one point, SLB even attempted to step out of the frame, presumably to let the lead trio of his upcoming film have a moment together. However, Ranbir quickly asked the filmmaker to return and join them for the pictures.

As the group finished posing and began to walk away, the atmosphere shifted. One photographer in the crowd continuously shouted, demanding that Ranbir pose exclusively with Alia and Vicky. The repeated yelling seemingly struck a nerve. Ranbir, who was already walking away, turned back toward the shouting photographer and delivered a sharp retort: “Bahut bol raha hai tu.”
The brief but heated exchange was captured on video and has since gone viral across social media platforms, sparking a flurry of reactions from fans and netizens alike.
This outing comes amidst a packed schedule for Ranbir Kapoor. He is currently gearing up for Nitesh Tiwari's epic ‘Ramayana Part One’, slated for a Diwali 2026 release. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Ravie Dubey and Lara Dutta, with promotions already well underway following a massive media event attended by the cast, crew, and international creators like Mr Beast.
Following ‘Ramayana’, Ranbir will jump back into the world of Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Love & War’, which promises a complex love triangle set against a period war backdrop, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. It is scheduled for a January 21, 2027 release.
