When it comes to celebrating Holi, Bollywood rarely does things quietly. The festival sees celebrities trade glamorous red-carpet looks for simple white kurtas, handfuls of gulaal and carefree moments with friends and family. This year was no different, as several stars gave fans a peek into their colourful celebrations through social media. From terrace gatherings to garden parties drenched in colour, celebrities including Ananya Panday, Katrina Kaif, Kriti Sanon, Manish Malhotra, Soha Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan shared glimpses of how they welcomed Holi 2026.

Kriti Sanon marked the festival with a joyful family celebration, sharing playful and heartfelt moments with her sister Nupur, who celebrated her first Holi after marriage. Joining the festivities was Nupur’s husband, singer Stebin Ben, as the trio posed for cheerful photos from what appeared to be a vibrant yet aesthetically styled Holi gathering.

Kriti also made sure the celebrations remained a family affair, sharing pictures that included their parents as well. Covered in bright colours and smiles, the Sanon family came together to celebrate Nupur’s first Holi as a newlywed.
Varun Dhawan, who had recently gone viral for his smile becoming a meme following the buzz around ‘Border 2’, also joined the Holi festivities. The actor shared a cheerful moment posing alongside his wife, flashing his trademark smirk while enjoying the festival colours.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif opted for a more intimate celebration. The couple marked Holi 2026 with their close family members, including Sunny Kaushal and Isabelle Kaif. Sharing pictures from the gathering, they captioned the occasion “The Happiest Happy Holi.” This year’s celebration was particularly special for the couple, as it marked their first Holi after becoming parents.
Fashion designer Manish Malhotra, known for hosting grand celebrations, also embraced the festive spirit. His Holi gathering brought together several well-known faces, including Shabana Azmi and Urmila Matondkar. Sharing pictures from the event, Manish Malhotra wrote on Instagram that he played Holi after many years, doing so out of love for the “iconic Shabana Azmi.” He also reminisced about celebrating the festival with Urmila again, recalling their bond dating back to the 1990s.

Holi, often called the ‘Festival of Colours’, remains one of India’s most widely celebrated festivals. The festivities begin a day earlier with Choti Holi, also known as Holika Dahan, symbolising the triumph of good over evil. On the night before Holi, people gather to light the Holika bonfire.
