For a recent awards nigh, Ananya Panday turned to the archives, stepping out in an archival Spring/Summer 2007 Elie Saab gown styled by Priyanka Kapadia. Taking to Instagram, the celebrity stylist shared stunning photos of the young Bollywood actress in the shimmery number.

The halter-neck gold gown featured a plunging neckline that drew focus to the collarbones before cinching at the waist with horizontally structured sequin bands. The silhouette flowed into a sleek column shape that hugged her frame without excessive volume. The surface was richly embellished with gold sequins arranged in directional, almost chevron-like patterns, creating texture and movement even when she stood still.

A thigh-high slit broke the linearity of the column skirt, adding fluidity and another layer of boldness, while the open back amplified the gown’s sensual, evening-ready appeal.
She paired the archival creation with gold-toned Aquazzura heels, keeping the footwear understated to allow the gown’s intricate detailing to command attention. Jewellery from Irasva Fine Jewellery complemented the look – elongated diamond drop earrings and a delicate ring added sparkle without overwhelming the ensemble.
Ananya Panday’s hair was styled in a sleek high bun that sharpened the neckline and showcased the open back, with a few tendrils framing her face for balance. The makeup leaned into warm, bronzed glamour: sculpted cheeks with a luminous highlight, softly smoked eyes that added depth, defined brows and fluttery lashes. A warm neutral gloss completed the look, holding its own against the intensity of the gold sequins.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya was last seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, marking their second collaboration together. Directed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Dharma Entertainment, the film also starred Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff.
