Farah Khan’s cook Dilip received a surprise gift from Manish Malhotra.
Bollywood choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan’s YouTube vlogs continue to be a delightful blend of humour, warmth and spontaneity. And one recurring star in these videos has been her cook, Dilip, who has now become a viral favourite across social media. In her latest vlog, Farah Khan took Dilip along to the Mumbai residence of Bollywood’s celebrated fashion designer Manish Malhotra, and what unfolded there instantly became another fan-favourite moment.

The video showed Farah Khan and Dilip entering Manish Malhotra’s lavish home, where the designer immediately greeted them with affection. Holding Dilip’s hand warmly, Manish said, “I have a gift for you,” as his assistant, Nitin, handed over a signature MM bag. As soon as Dilip began opening it, Farah Khan jokingly quipped that he could keep the bag but the item inside should belong to her –prompting Manish Malhotra to tease that the garment wouldn’t fit her anyway.
Dilip then pulled out a light pink kurta from the bag and thanked Manish Malhotra for the thoughtful gesture. Farah couldn’t help but react with her trademark wit. She pointed out how people save for years to own a Manish Malhotra outfit, while Dilip received one instantly. “Kya teri kismat badli he bhai! Manish Malhotra ka costume pehenne ke liye log saalo tak paise ekhatte karte hain fir aate hain,” Farah exclaimed.
Manish Malhotra affectionately called Dilip a star, and in a wholesome moment, Dilip later wore the kurta and touched the designer’s feet to express his gratitude.
Farah Khan, known for her comic timing, revealed earlier that she began vlogging after her team pushed her to try the format. She instinctively chose Dilip as her on-screen companion, handing him funny punchlines and letting their natural banter drive the videos.
