Alia Bhatt Is Living Her Own ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ With Girl Gang, And The Pics Are Pure Vacation Goals

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has given fans a front-row seat to her latest getaway with her girl gang, and the internet is loving every frame. The actress shared a breezy photo dump on Instagram with the caption “our jee le zaraa,” and within an hour the post crossed 2.2 lakh likes, with Varun Dhawan among those who hit the heart button. The caption is a cheeky nod to Farhan Akhtar’s long-delayed road-trip film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. The film was announced in 2021 with a dream cast of Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.

Alia is one of the three leads, and the project has been stuck ever since. Farhan has said he would hate to call it shelved, describing it instead as on the back burner and insisting it will happen. Recent reports suggest the script is locked and the delay comes down to logistics and aligning the dates of all three actresses. Until that happens, it looks like Alia is living her own version of the story.

The carousel opens with a chaotic car selfie: six friends squeezed into the back seat at night, mid-laugh, with Alia grinning from the back row. It sets the tone for the whole trip.

Things turn glamorous next. Alia, in a flowing red dress, poses with five friends under an olive tree at dusk, a lit-up hillside village of stone houses behind them. The same red dress appears in two solo frames. In one she glances over her shoulder beside an infinity pool facing the sea. In the other she sits on a terrace at sunset, smiling away from the camera.
The off-duty moments are just as charming. Alia sticks her tongue out in a sunglasses selfie, wearing an orange floral headscarf she also wears on a boat ride, where she doubles over laughing with a friend against the turquoise sea. She is also seen cooking in a sleek white kitchen in a lace headband, sipping coffee in an all-white co-ord by a palm tree, and curled up for a nap on a cream sofa.
Food features heavily too. One top-down shot shows a breakfast table loaded with croissants, blueberry loaf, strawberries, granola and smoked salmon. Another captures the gang at a sunlit rooftop lunch under a canopy of autumn leaves. A dinner photo at a cosy restaurant, its walls covered in decorative plates, shows Alia resting her head on a friend’s shoulder.
Alia also makes room for the scenery: a harbour full of bobbing boats below terracotta-hued homes, a rugged mountain view framed by bougainvillea, and a rocky cove with crystal-clear water. A rooftop pool beside a towering Gothic stone church gets its own frame, as does a ride on a vintage wooden tram, where all six friends pile in for a group photo.
The dump ends with the friends silhouetted against a golden sunset by the harbour, a fitting final frame for what looks like a dream escape.
Fans flooded the comments with hearts, with many calling the group “cuties.” One thing is clear: if ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ ever goes on floors, Alia has already had a rehearsal.
