The trailer of 'Alpha', starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, is out.

The highly anticipated trailer for the upcoming YRF Spy Universe film, ‘Alpha’, has officially arrived, promising a thrilling origin story of two “deadly girls”. Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film features a star-studded cast including Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor. Set to release worldwide on July 3, the action-packed movie marks the seventh installment in the celebrated spy universe. The trailer sets a dark and intense tone, opening with a baby inside a glass enclosure.

Bobby Deol’s character, Fateh, explains that the baby's mother's name was Jaanki, prompting him to confidently name the child Sita. Through a gripping voiceover, Alia Bhatt narrates a story about a "demon" whose greatest weapon was his arrogance, and who ruled by deceit. Fateh is revealed to be a disgruntled former spy seeking vengeance.

Check out the trailer of ‘Alpha’ here:

He raises Sita, training her relentlessly to become a ruthless killing machine conditioned to eliminate targets on his command. Bobby’s character ominously declares that since India did not respect Alpha, the nation will now fear Alpha. He claims that the Alpha program is his absolute obsession and he will brutally eliminate anyone who stands in his way.

However, the trailer reveals a major twist as Fateh's own creation turns against him. Defying the traditional ‘Ramayana’ narrative where Sita waits to be rescued, Alia Bhatt’s character declares that this time, Sita has come to burn down Lanka herself. She is shown engaging in heavy combat, shooting enemies, and casually announcing, “Hi boys,” before diving into more action.

Sharvari soon joins the mission, showcasing her own hand-to-hand combat skills as she jumps from balconies and skateboards through city streets. The two agents are seen fiercely training and fighting together.

Anil Kapoor makes a compelling appearance in the trailer, stepping in to guide the two young agents. He warns Sita about the sheer difficulty of stopping Fateh, describing the villain as the lion of his own jungle. The visuals are packed with adrenaline-pumping moments, including Alia Bhatt cocking a shotgun and declaring the start of their "agni pariksha" or trial by fire. Fans are treated to dynamic sequences involving intense mountain climbing, dirt bike chases, large-scale explosions, ticking time bombs, and heavily armed combat vehicles.

The biggest surprise of the trailer is saved for the very end, sparking massive excitement across the internet. Following a scene with young monks in a monastery where one asks if a mysterious figure will save them, the video briefly shows a man covered under a hood. The camera focuses solely on his intense eyes, which eagle-eyed fans immediately recognized as Hrithik Roshan. Hrithik is expected to reprise his iconic role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal from ‘War’ and ‘War 2’, stepping in to assist the female leads on their dangerous mission.

Viewers have flooded online platforms with praise for the film's visual effects, the upgraded colour palette, and the action blocks, noting that Hrithik’s brief tease completely stole the show. Audiences are eagerly awaiting this fresh and fierce addition to the spy universe.
