Alia Bhatt exuded elegance in a custom ivory Gaurav Gupta mogra saree with a pearl-encrusted blouse.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s fashion sensibility has always leaned towards elegance that feels effortless rather than overworked. Whether she is choosing a minimal saree, a sculpted gown or a modern ethnic silhouette, her style often finds beauty in softness, restraint and thoughtful detailing. She rarely relies on loud styling to make an impact; instead, her looks usually come alive through fine craftsmanship, fluid drapes and luminous beauty choices. Her recent appearance followed the same language, blending traditional romance with contemporary couture in the most graceful way.
For the Screen Awards 2026, Alia Bhatt wore a custom Gaurav Gupta Mogra saree that looked ethereal, delicate and quietly dramatic. Taking to Instagram, the renowned fashion designer shared stunning photos of Alia in the saree.

The ivory-white silk satin drape was kept largely fluid and unworked, allowing the fabric’s natural sheen and movement to stand out. What made the saree special was the use of cascading mogra tassels threaded along the drape, flowing from the shoulder and trailing down the length of the pallu instead of sitting like heavy embellishments. The pallu fell beautifully at the back, almost like a soft train, giving the look a dreamy, sculptural quality while keeping the overall mood serene.
She paired the saree with a pearl-encrusted blouse that carried most of the intricate workmanship. The blouse featured a structured bustier-style base with a deep neckline, slim straps and dense hand embellishment using pearls in different sizes. Floral and vine-like pearl detailing could be seen across the blouse, matching the mogra-inspired accents on the saree. The back view revealed a minimal blouse cut that allowed the long, floral tassels to cascade down gracefully.
Alia Bhatt’s accessories were equally refined. She wore The Celene diamond choker from Alok Lodha high jewellery, which sat close to the neck and added vintage glamour to the look. Her earrings were from Raniek Jewels, with the brand identifying them as Raniek Asscher solitaires of 8 carats each. She also wore statement rings, adding sparkle without disturbing the softness of the outfit.
For hair, Alia kept things romantic with loose, centre-parted waves styled with soft volume through the lengths. Her makeup was fresh and glowing, featuring warm bronze-brown eyeshadow, defined lashes, brushed brows, luminous skin, rosy cheeks and a rose glossy lip.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Alia can now be seen in ‘Alpha’. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film is the seventh installment in the YRF Spy Universe and co-stars Sharvari, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. It released in theatres today.
Beyond the action genre, Alia is also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic romance drama ‘Love And War’, sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
