70th National Film Awards: 'Kantara' and 'KGF: Chapter 2' have won big!

The winners of the 70th National Film Awards have finally been announced! The winners were announced at the National Media Center in New Delhi on Friday. However, it is not known when the ceremony will be held. But whenever it takes place, the best Indian films produced across languages in the calendar year 2022 will be honoured by the President, Droupadi Murmu. For the unversed, feature, and non-feature films that were certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, were eligible for contention for the 70th National Film Awards

Malayalam-language drama 'Aattam' won the Best Feature Film award, while 'Kantara's Rishab Shetty won the Best Actor award. The Best Actress honour was shared by Nithya Menen and Manasi Parekh.

It is important to mention that the award ceremonies have been delayed by two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
