Akshay Kumar is all set to grace the couch of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ for its finale episode.
The latest season of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is wrapping up on a high note, with superstar Akshay Kumar set to appear in the finale episode to promote his upcoming film ‘Jolly LLB 3’. After opening with Salman Khan as the very first guest, the Netflix show is closing its run with another heavyweight name. A newly-leaked promo from the finale has already set social media abuzz, as it shows Akshay Kumar roasting host Kapil Sharma with his trademark wit.
In the clip, Akshay Kumar makes a grand entry by sliding down a staircase railing before joining a group of dancers on stage. The audience erupts as he grooves with the performers, but the real fun begins when Kapil teases him, asking, “Why so many girls, are you doing Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon?”
Akshay fires back with a cheeky one-liner: “15 saal baad iss aadmi ka waqt aata hai ek film milti hai.”

The banter doesn’t stop there. Kapil jokingly asks Akshay why he has shown up only in the last episode of the third season despite his punctual reputation. Without missing a beat, Akshay quips, “Paise nahi diye naa.”
In another rib-tickling moment, he takes a dig at Kapil’s dancing skills, referencing the actor-comedian’s film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’: “Remember the song he did in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, why was it in a graveyard? Because his dancing is completely dead.”
The finale episode also promises fun interactions between Akshay and the rest of the comedy team, including Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Sunil Grover. Fans who saw the promo couldn’t contain their excitement, with one commenting, “Bro owns Kapil in every episode of every season,” while another wrote, “Akshay Kumar and Kapil Sharma, too much fun.” Many are convinced the finale will be one of the most entertaining episodes yet.
This season of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ began in June and welcomed a star-studded line-up, including Salman Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, and cricketers Gautam Gambhir, Abhishek Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Rishabh Pant. A new format twist also allowed fans to come on stage and showcase their talents, adding to the freshness of the show.
The finale episode featuring Akshay Kumar is slated to air on September 20. Meanwhile, Akshay will soon be seen on the big screen in ‘Jolly LLB 3’, alongside Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao, and Huma Qureshi. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 19.
