'Bigg Boss 17': As per a report, Karan Johar will be hosting the Weekend Ka Vaar this week instead of Salman Khan.
'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' director Karan Johar will be replacing Salman Khan for the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode of 'Bigg Boss 17' this week. As per a report in Hindustan Times, Karan Johar will be seen interacting with the contestants in his own unique manner this week. For the unversed, this is not the first time that Karan Johar will be taking over as the host. Karan Johar had earlier hosted the first season of 'Bigg Boss OTT'. Salman Khan has gained a lot of fans for his hosting skills, and he has been associated with 'Bigg Boss' for a very long time now.
Earlier, Salman Khan had replaced Karan Johar as the host of 'Bigg Boss OTT 2', which was won by YouTuber Elvish Yadav.
Karan Johar and Salman Khan will soon be collaborating for 'The Bull’ as the action film is being produced by Dharma Productions.
Talking about 'Bigg Boss 17', this week saw many ups and downs. Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande first interacted with their parents while Neil Bhatt was nominated for the entire season.
Social media sensation Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, had also entered the house as a guest for one day.
For the unversed, the eight contestants who are nominated this week are -- Anurag Dobhal, Khanzaadi aka Firoza Khan, Rinku Dhawan, Vicky Jain, Neil Bhatt, Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra and Arun Mashettey.
On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in 'Tiger 3' alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The movie directed by Maneesh Sharma, has so far earned Rs 278.05 crore in India.
The fifth installment of the YRF Spy Universe also features cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Emraan Hashmi. As of now, it is unlikely that Salman Khan would have any release in 2024.
