Amid the buzz surrounding postponement of Smriti Mandhana's wedding, Palak Muchhal was seen visiting her brother, Palash, in hospital.
The sudden postponement of cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal’s wedding has sent social media into a frenzy, with speculation running high about what may have caused the celebrations to be “put on hold”. While the initial explanation pointed to a health scare involving Mandhana’s father, new developments have only intensified the chatter. Fans noticed that Smriti Mandhana has now removed all wedding-related posts from her Instagram account, adding fresh fuel to the rumour mill and leaving many wondering what truly led to the unexpected delay.
Amid the growing chatter, Palash’s sister, singer Palak Muchhal, was seen visiting her brother at a hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday morning. She was seen dressed in a long blue shirt, paired with black leggings and white wedges.
Palak didn't interact with the paparazzi as she quickly made her way into the hospital premises.

On Monday, Palak had also shared a statement on the postponement of Palash and Smriti's wedding. Taking to Instagram Stories, she wrote, “Due to Smriti’s father’s health, Smriti and Palash’s wedding has been put on hold. We would request all of you to respect the privacy of the families during this sensitive time.”
It is worth mentioning that Palash and Smriti were set to get married on November 23, but the celebrations were abruptly put on hold after a medical emergency involving Smriti's father.
Just a day later, NDTV reported that Palash was also admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.
Earlier, Palash's mother spoke to Hindustan Times that Palash is very close to Smriti’s father, and her son decided to postpone the wedding until he recovers.
“Since haldi was done, we didn’t let him go outside. Rote rote ek dum tabiyat karab ho gai. 4 ghante hospital mein rakhna padha. IV drip chadi, ECG hua aur dosre tests hoye. Sab normal aaye, but stress bahut hai,” Palash's mother, Amita, said.
For the unversed, Smriti and Palash started dating in 2019. The duo had stayed private until they finally made their relationship public last year by posting an anniversary picture marking five years together.
