Dil-Luminati Tour: Diljit Dosanjh's India Tour Sells More Than 1 Lakh Tickets
Diljit Dosanjh is bringing his Dil-luminati tour to India. It will kick off in Delhi on October 26.
Diljit Dosanjh is one of the most famous Indian singers, and it is no surprise that his concerts in countries like France, the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy, were sold out. In the latest entertainment news, the 'Amar Singh Chamkila' actor is bringing his Dil-luminati tour to India. The India tour will kick off in Delhi on October 26. His 10-city and 2-month tour will be held in Hyderabad (November 15), Ahmedabad (November 17), Lucknow (November 22), Pune (November 24), Kolkata (November 30), Bangalore (December 6), Indore (December 8), Chandigarh (December 14), and Guwahati (December 29).
As per several reports, the pre-sales tickets for HDFC Bank Pixel Cardholders were opened on September 10 and now it has come to light, that more than 1 lakh tickets got sold out within 15 minutes of the bookings being opened.
The cheapest ticket has been priced at Rs 1,499 for the Silver Area. The Golden Area was sold for Rs 3,999, Rs 4,999, and Rs 5,999 in different phases.
The other areas were the fan pits, which were sold at Rs 9,999 and Rs 12,999, as per Indian Express.
The General ticket sales will kick off on Thursday at 1 pm. The tickets will be made available on Zomato LIVE.
Speaking about the tour, Diljit in an official statement said, "Bringing the Dil-Luminati Tour to India is a dream come true. After the incredible journey abroad, performing in my homeland feels like coming full circle."
"The love and energy I’ve felt from fans around the world have been extraordinary, but there’s something uniquely special about performing here, where it all began. India, get ready, because Punjabi ghar aa gaye oye! We’re going to make history together – I can promise you a night you’ll never forget," he added.
Diljit Dosanjh was last seen in the Punjabi film ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’, alongside Neeru Bajwa.
Speaking about ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’ with Hindustan Times, Diljit Dosanjh said, “I am determined to do one Punjabi film, and an album every year. That's something substantial for me. I will continue to do everything else, but would never disconnect from Punjab.”
Diljit Dosanjh was also seen in Hindi films 'Crew' and 'Amar Singh Chamkila' in 2024. The latter was directed by Imtiaz Ali, and Diljit gained immense appreciation for his performance.
