Hollywood actor Will Smith has now started following Diljit Dosanjh on Instagram.

Diljit Dosanjh is proving to be a true global sensation, and his popularity knows no bounds. Recently, Diljit made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's 'The Tonight Show', and he has also been performing to sold out arenas in Canada and the US. In the latest entertainment news, Hollywood actor and singer Will Smith, has started following Diljit on Instagram. Will Smith, who has more than 70 million followers on Instagram, only follows 276 people on the platform, and hence, this makes his choice to follow Diljit, a remarkable feat.

Fans of Diljit Dosanjh are now sharing screenshots of Will Smith's following list and they are expressing their pride in Dosanjh's expanding global presence. 

For the unversed, Diljit Dosanjh has 21.9 million followers on Instagram, but he is not following anyone on the platform.

Speaking of Will Smith, he began his career with the NBC sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'.

Over the years, he has starred in several blockbusters such as 'Bad Boys', 'Men in Black', 'Independence Day', and 'Enemy of the State'. 

His performances in 'Ali' and 'The Pursuit of Happyness' also earned him Academy Award nominations for Best Actor.

In 2019, Will Smith also made a cameo appearance in Karan Johar-backed 'Student of the Year 2', and he was seen dancing alongside Tiger Shroff.

Diljit Dosanjh was last seen in the Punjabi film ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’, alongside Neeru Bajwa. Speaking about ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’ with Hindustan Times, Diljit Dosanjh said, “I am determined to do one Punjabi film, and an album every year. That's something substantial for me. I will continue to do everything else, but would never disconnect from Punjab.”

Talking about how he manifested making an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’, the actor said, “We are living in a dream. There is nothing outside its realm. And that’s something, which should drive everyone to dream and aspire big.”

Diljit Dosanjh was also seen in Hindi films 'Crew' and 'Amar Singh Chamkila' in 2024. The latter was directed by Imtiaz Ali, and Diljit gained immense appreciation for his performance.
