India’s huge victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup final sparked a wave of celebrations across Bollywood and beyond, with stars flooding social media to hail Team India’s achievement. The men in blue clinched the title in Dubai with a five-wicket win in the final, remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament. Celebrities, including Mammootty, Anupam Kher, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Preity Zinta and Raghav Juyal, hailed the Indian cricket team after its Asia Cup triumph.

Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Vijay Deverakonda and Vivek Oberoi, among others, also shared posts on their social media platforms.

Veteran actor Mammootty posted a congratulatory message on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Team India didn't just win the Asia Cup, they owned it. Champions without a single defeat. Absolutely magnificent!"

 

Anil Kapoor kept his reaction short and powerful with a patriotic, “India Zindabad.”

 

Anupam Kher shared his elation in a video on Instagram, pumping his fist and shouting, “Bharat Mata ki jai! Kya baat hai! What a game! Oh my God. Jeetenge bhai jeetenge. Bharat Mata ki jai. Vande Mataram.”

Preity Zinta also took to social media, posting, “Wow !!! What a game. CONGRATULATIONS to Team India for winning the Asia Cup! Thank you, Tilak, Shivam & Kuldeep, for this thrilling victory. Ting! #indvspak2025.”

 

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, who were promoting their upcoming film ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, joined in the celebrations. Varun nudged Janhvi during an event to repeat her earlier chant from Janmashtami. Janhvi shouted, “Bharat mata ki jai!” and later shared the clip with the caption, “Before you’ll edit the vid and post out of context, but we won!!!!!!!! Sanskari style celebration!!!!! #IndiaWon.”

Amitabh Bachchan took a witty dig at former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar, who had mistakenly referred to Abhishek Bachchan instead of cricketer Abhishek Sharma. On X, Amitabh wrote, “Jeet gaye !! Well played 'Abhishek Bachchan' .. Udhar jabaan ladkhadai, aur udhar, bina batting bowling fielding kiye, ladkhada diya dushman ko!! Bolti bandh. Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! Jai Maa Durga!!!!”

 

Ranveer Singh posted a screenshot of his WhatsApp chat predicting India’s win, which read, “It's Tilak's moment, let's go!!!”

Vijay Deverakonda celebrated Tilak Varma’s performance, writing, “Indiaaaaaaaaa. Our Boy killed it.”

 

Vivek Oberoi lauded the team with a clever pun: “Saamne koi bhi ho, Bhaarat Tilak lagaakar hi ghar bhejega.”

He further praised Kuldeep Yadav’s four wickets and Tilak’s fifty, calling them “absolute beauty.”

Dancer-actor Raghav Juyal, who witnessed the match live in Dubai, told ANI, “Bohot acha laga aaj. Aur main apne bacchon ko bataunga ki main ye legendary match dekhne aaya tha. Bilkul kamaal ho gaya.”

Bollywood’s stars mirrored the pride of millions as India lifted the Asia Cup trophy yet again.
