Here's how the world is reacting to Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'The Greatest Of All Time'.

Venkat Prabhu's directorial 'The Greatest Of All Time', starring Thalapathy Vijay, has finally been released in cinemas. The new Tamil movie is expected to register a worldwide opening of more than Rs 100 crore. If the early reactions on social media are anything to go by, then it is fair to say that the film is likely to emerge as a massive success story.  Trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Thursday morning said that the advance booking for 'GOAT' is "simply PHENOMENAL" and the film is set for an "earth-shattering start".

"And #GOAT - starring #ThalapathyVijay - lives up to its title... The advance bookings are simply PHENOMENAL, all set for an EARTH-SHATTERING START in #India and #Overseas... Expecting new benchmarks at the #BO... Fingers crossed! #TheGreatestOfAllTime
#ThalapathyIsTheGOAT," he wrote.

Fans are also going gaga over the film, with several users already calling it a "blockbuster."

Here are some of the reactions:

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 'GOAT' has so far sold 12,37,129 tickets for the opening day, grossing Rs 24.50 crore.

Out of these 12,37,129 tickets, the Tamil version has sold 11,45,816 tickets. The Hindi and Telugu versions have so far sold 29,281 and 62,032 tickets, respectively.

'GOAT' has already emerged as the Tamil film with the biggest advance booking numbers in 2024, surpassing Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2'.

For the uninitiated, 'GOAT' is Vijay's first film after his announcement of entering politics.

'GOAT' is also one of the costliest films made this year with a reported budget of around Rs 400 crore.

The film also features Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, and Yugendran in important roles.
