Rashmika wore a custom ensemble by Jade by Monica and Karishma – a deep red Mysore silk saree with a rich gold border, echoing the classic wedding palette she had chosen for her main ceremony. The saree also featured a striking black and gold border. According to fashion watchdog Diet Sabya, the highlight of the garment was the Gandaberunda motif – the iconic two-headed bird symbol associated with the Wadiyar dynasty of Mysore. The emblem, carefully hand-embroidered into the fabric, symbolised power and the rich heritage of Karnataka.
The outfit also paid tribute to Rashmika’s Kodava (Coorg) roots. Social media users pointed out that the saree incorporated subtle motifs inspired by traditional Kodava iconography – including the pichkathi (a ceremonial dagger), odikathi (a war sword) and a traditional gun. These symbols reflect the Kodava community’s warrior heritage, and fans praised Rashmika for bringing elements of her cultural identity to a high-profile celebration.
Her jewellery, designed by Shree Jewellers, was another standout feature. As highlighted by Diet Sabya, the pieces showcased intricate nakshi craftsmanship. The centrepiece was a dramatic peacock-fountain necklace crafted in gold and set with Burma rubies and emeralds in luminous kundan work. Sketches shared online of her haathphool revealed delicate pearl and gold chains adorned with peacock motifs, mirroring the design elements embroidered into her saree.
Complementing Rashmika’s vibrant attire, Vijay Deverakonda chose a classic and understated South Indian look. He wore a white silk veshti paired with a matching shirt, creating a clean and timeless silhouette. The V-neck cut of the shirt and the natural sheen of the silk fabric highlighted the tailoring, while a simple silver-toned chain added a subtle modern touch. His signature moustache and neatly styled hair completed the evening’s regal aesthetic.
The reception saw an impressive turnout from the film fraternity. Among those present were Chiranjeevi, Daggubati Venkatesh, Radhika Sarathkumar, R. Sarathkumar, Nagarjuna with wife Amala and son Naga Chaitanya, Nani, Namrata Shirodkar with daughter Sitara, Sreeleela, Dheekshith Shetty, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan with wife Upasana, Kriti Sanon, Karan Johar, Sukumar, Neena Gupta with husband Vivek Mehra and Naveen Polishetty.
Karan Johar later took to Instagram Stories to post a picture with the newlyweds from their star-studded wedding reception. The picture also featured Kriti Sanon.
Several celebrities also made striking fashion statements at the event. Kriti Sanon opted for an all-black lehenga by Shantanu & Nikhil, pairing a high-neck, full-sleeved sheer blouse with a textured skirt. A structured belt and black dupatta added a contemporary twist to the dramatic look.
Mrunal Thakur stunned in a black saree adorned with vibrant multi-coloured floral borders, paired with a heavily embellished V-neck blouse. Her glamorous makeup and polished hair completed the elegant ensemble.
Rana Daggubati attended with his wife Miheeka Bajaj, with the couple serving coordinated royal vibes. Rana wore a navy bandhgala suit with gold buttons, while Miheeka complemented him in a deep navy lehenga with intricate silver embroidery and a richly detailed silk dupatta.
Sreeleela impressed in a graceful green Anarkali suit featuring a full-sleeved flared kurta. She paired it with a Bandhani-style dupatta finished with golden borders and accessorised the look with a choker necklace and statement jhumkas.
Krithi Shetty chose a softer palette, wearing a pastel pink lehenga set with a bralette-style blouse embellished with delicate golden embroidery. Her matching dupatta and soft pink glam makeup added to the dreamy aesthetic.
Namrata Shirodkar attended the reception with her daughter Sitara. Namrata looked elegant in an ivory sharara set with subtle golden embroidery, styled with a matching dupatta and statement choker. Sitara brought a vibrant pop of colour in a bright pink lehenga featuring mirror and thread work.
Nagarjuna arrived with his family, balancing classic and contemporary style. Nagarjuna wore a dark suit layered over a printed shirt, while Naga Chaitanya looked sharp in a grey suit with a crisp white shirt and black shoes. Amala Akkineni added a traditional touch in a graceful blue saree.
Allu Arjun made a striking entry in a striped kurta paired with ivory trousers and a floral Nehru jacket, finishing the look with tinted glasses and his signature swagger.
Veteran actress Radikaa Sarathkumar, director Shekar Kammula and singer Sid Sriram were also among those spotted at the VIROSH reception. Actor Nani attended with his wife Anjana, while Telugu actress Varsha Bollamma was also present. Chiranjeevi arrived solo in a sharp blue suit, while Ram Charan and Upasana were seen together at the celebration.
