Even as the celebrations settle down, the newly married couple continues to receive immense love from fans across the world – something that has clearly left them overwhelmed with gratitude. Recently, Rashmika took to social media to respond to a heartfelt note written by a fan who reflected on the couple’s relationship and the affection they share.

The ‘Animal’ actress revealed that the message deeply moved her and even brought her to tears. The note, titled “Romantic Optimism in a Cynical Age,” was written by a fan named Dhamini Damodar and celebrated the emotional connection between Rashmika and Vijay.
On Monday, Rashmika shared her reaction on X (formerly Twitter) after coming across the post. The fan’s write-up explored the idea of romantic optimism in today’s world and referenced the bond between the two actors. The writer described admiration as a quiet yet powerful expression of love, noting, “Sometimes the most honest proof of love is simply admiration. Reacting to the touching message, Rashmika admitted that it had been a long time since something written about her had stirred such deep emotions. She confessed that she was overwhelmed by the sentiments expressed in the post.

In the detailed write-up, Dhamini Damodar also spoke about her observations of Rashmika and Vijay’s relationship over the years. She particularly highlighted the way Rashmika looks at Vijay in public appearances, describing it as a reflection of genuine admiration. “Anyone who has known admiration in its fullest sense immediately recognises that expression. Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda officially tied the knot on February 26, 2026, in an intimate ceremony held at ITC Mementos in Udaipur. The wedding was attended by close family members and friends. Their ceremony uniquely blended Vijay’s Telugu traditions with Rashmika’s Kodava (Coorgi) customs. The wedding outfits for both actors were designed by Anamika Khanna.
Following the ceremony, the couple hosted a star-studded reception for their friends from the film industry in Hyderabad on March 4. Rashmika and Vijay had gotten engaged in October last year, but they confirmed their relationship only in February this year when they publicly announced their wedding.
The two actors first worked together in the 2018 Telugu romantic comedy ‘Geetha Govindam’, which became a major hit. They later reunited for the 2019 action-drama ‘Dear Comrade’. Although rumours about their relationship had circulated for years, the pair largely remained private about their personal lives until their wedding announcement.
Rashmika made her acting debut with the Kannada romantic comedy ‘Kirik Party’ in 2016 and has since established herself as one of the most successful actresses in the country. She has appeared in several major blockbusters including ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, ‘Animal’, ‘Chhaava’ and ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.
Vijay Deverakonda, on the other hand, began his career with a small role in the Telugu romantic comedy ‘Nuvvila’ (2011). He later rose to prominence with films such as ‘Yevade Subramanyam’, ‘Pelli Choopulu’, ‘Arjun Reddy’, ‘Mahanati’, ‘Taxiwaala’, and ‘Kingdom’.
The newlyweds are also set to reunite on screen in the upcoming period action drama ‘Ranabaali’.
