As per Pinkvilla journalist Himesh Mankad, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has also sold 1,25,000 tickets in the Hindi language, across national cinema chains. When it comes to just the Hindi language, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is at the fourth spot in terms of biggest advance booking in 2024, after ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, ‘Fighter’, and ‘Article 370’.

For the unversed, the movie’s story is a mix of Hindu mythology set in a dystopian world where some people are on the mission to save the unborn child of Deepika Padukone’s character. The unborn child is believed to be Kalki, the avatar of Lord Vishnu.
