The wait is over, and it was absolutely worth it. Tollywood’s favourite newlyweds, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, are back on our screens for the first time since tying the knot in February 2026 – and they are bringing serious heat. The makers of their highly anticipated pan-India period drama, ‘Ranabaali’, just dropped the film’s first track, and the visual release of ‘Ranabaali: O Mere Saajan’ is a masterclass in raw, rustic romance. Released in Hindi as ‘O Mere Saajan’ (and making waves across the South as 'Endhayya Saami' in Telugu, 'Yedhayya Saami' in Tamil, 'Enthe Kannaala' in Malayalam, and 'Enayya Saami' in Kannada), the song perfectly captures the unbridled, real-life chemistry of Mr and Mrs Deverakonda.

Composed by the legendary Ajay-Atul, the track is anchored by a melody that feels grand yet deeply intimate. The Hindi version features the soulful, lingering vocals of Javed Ali and Shweta Mohan, paired beautifully with Kshitij Patwardhan’s poetic lyrics. But let's be honest – it’s the visual storytelling directed by Rahul Sankrityan that has fans hitting the replay button.

Set against a visually rich 1878 backdrop, the music video introduces us to Vijay as Singanamala Ranabaali, a fierce warrior, and Rashmika as his devoted wife, Jayamma. The video opens with Rashmika looking completely ethereal in a traditional saree, stealing glances from behind a heavy wooden door. This sets the stage for Vijay’s phenomenal, rugged entrance. Sporting a bare-chested look with a thick moustache, a traditional dhoti, and carrying a massive wooden mace on his shoulder, he looks every bit the 19th-century rebel.
As he aggressively works out and chugs water from a copper vessel, Rashmika's character is completely spellbound. Even while going about her daily village chores – like winnowing grain or tending to the traditional kitchen – her absolute devotion and playful obsession with her husband remain the focal point of the narrative.
As the song progresses, the intimacy deepens. We get a sweet, spiritual moment of the couple at an ancient temple as a priest applies a tilak to Vijay's forehead. But the undeniable highlight of the video is the incredibly steamy bathing sequence in a dimly lit, stone-walled pond. The dripping wet visuals, intense eye contact, and the way Vijay passionately pulls Rashmika into his arms brilliantly showcase why they are Indian cinema's ultimate power couple.
Beyond the romance, the video is packed with genuinely heartwarming and humorous moments that make their dynamic feel lived-in and real. From Vijay playfully teasing a mildly annoyed Rashmika in the kitchen to the couple peacefully sleeping side-by-side on a rustic wooden swing at night, every frame builds their deep connection. The video finishes on a hilariously relatable note: while Rashmika is busy churning buttermilk, Vijay sneaks up from behind and affectionately lifts her into the air. Right on cue, two older village women walk in and catch them red-handed! Vijay freezes in pure shock, while Rashmika’s panicked, deer-in-the-headlights expression provides a perfectly light-hearted conclusion.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar (Mythri Movie Makers) along with T-Series, ‘Ranabaali’ also stars Hollywood's Arnold Vosloo as the British antagonist. The action epic is gearing up for a massive worldwide theatrical release on October 16, 2026.
